Mavis Nimoh is an Associate Professor of the Practice of Health Services, Policy and Practice at Brown University. She currently serves as CEO of Tapestry Health Systems, a community health organization addressing harm reduction, reproductive health access, and food insecurity. Her work focuses on equity-based public systems transformation, with expertise in scaling behavioral health interventions and designing innovative curricula.
Research interests include reproductive health justice for marginalized communities, narrowing health equity gaps in sexual reproductive care, and criminal legal system reform. She previously led Rhode Island's Center for Health and Justice Transformation and contributed to the Warren Alpert School of Medicine's Health and Justice elective program.
