معرفی
Maurice Filo is a researcher at the Department of Biosystems at ETH Zürich, specializing in Control Theory and Systems Biology. His academic journey includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), where he was supervised by Professor Bassam Bamieh. He also holds two Master's degrees: one in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and another in Mechanical Engineering from UCSB.
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering (2015) - University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB)
- Master's in Electrical and Computer Engineering (2010) - American University of Beirut (AUB)
- Master's in Mechanical Engineering (2012) - University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB)
Maurice’s research focuses on control theory, estimation theory, and dynamical systems, with applications in systems biology and mechanical engineering. His work spans deterministic and stochastic environments, emphasizing distributed systems. This interdisciplinary approach bridges theoretical mathematics with practical biological and mechanical challenges.
As a staff member of the Professorship for Control Theory and Systems Biology at ETH Zürich, Maurice contributes to advancing research in these areas. His expertise in both electrical and mechanical engineering informs his analytical methods and innovative solutions to complex system dynamics.
