Maureen M Bain is a Professor of Comparative Anatomy and Histology at the University of Glasgow's Department of Physiology, Ageing & Welfare, and serves as Assistant Vice-Principal (Curriculum) in the Office of the Vice Principals. Her research focuses on reproductive biology, eggshell quality, evolutionary development, and animal welfare, with a strong emphasis on avian systems.
