Maureen Belluscio

Maureen Belluscio is an Adjunct Professor of Disability Studies at the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Continuing and Professional Studies, where she teaches the master's-level course Disability Law and Policy. Concurrently, she serves as a Senior Staff Attorney in the Disability Justice Program at New York Lawyers for the Public Interest (NYLPI), a community-driven civil rights nonprofit in New York City. Her work focuses on disability rights, legal advocacy, and social justice.

• Professional Background: Joined NYLPI as Senior Staff Attorney in 2014 after representing survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in family court and civil actions with other legal services organizations.
