Maude Vanhaelen is a Professor of Classics and Modern Languages and Linguistics at Concordia University. Previously, she held academic roles at the University of Warwick, UK, including Assistant Professor (2007-2010), Associate Professor (2010-2019), and Reader (2019-2021). Her research focuses on Renaissance Platonism, the intellectual history of Italy, and the transmission of classical thought into early modern Europe. She has been funded by prestigious institutions such as the Wiener-Anspach Foundation and the RCUK.
