Mattias Mannervik is a Professor at the Department of Molecular Biosciences, The Wenner-Gren Institute, Stockholm University. His research focuses on transcriptional control of embryo development using advanced genomic technologies and Drosophila genetics. Key projects include:
- Establishment of epigenetic landscapes during early development
- Roles of snoRNAs in chromatin organization and DNA repair
- Transcriptional coregulators and histone acetylation mechanisms
