Matthias von Davier

Matthias von Davier is the Monan Professor in Education and Executive Director of the TIMSS & PIRLS International Study Center at Boston College. He specializes in psychometrics, large-scale educational assessments, and statistical methodologies. His work focuses on ensuring fairness and comparability in international testing, such as TIMSS and PIRLS, involving over 70 countries. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. from Kiel University in Germany.
