Matthias Wenzel

Matthias Wenzel serves as Professor of Organization Studies and Chair of Business Administration (specializing in Organization) at Leuphana University Lüneburg's Institute for Management & Organization (IMO), while also holding an Associate position at the Leuphana Center for Organization & Social Transformation. His academic career is anchored in qualitative organizational research with international editorial leadership.

His research centers on the interplay between organization and strategy through practice-theoretical lenses, examining social implications via critical discourse analysis and video methodologies. Key thematic areas include digital transformation, entrepreneurship, innovation management, and sustainable organizational practices within contemporary work environments.
