Matthias Kipping

Matthias Kipping is Professor of Strategic Management and Richard E. Waugh Chair in Business History at York University's Schulich School of Business, where he also serves as Associate Dean for the Kellogg-Schulich Executive MBA program. He holds a Ph.D. and has held academic positions at the University of Reading and Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

His research examines historical patterns in management practices, consulting industry evolution, and organizational dynamics. Kipping has been a visiting professor at institutions in France, Italy, Japan, Germany, and the UK. His current affiliations include the Copenhagen Business School's 'MISTRA' project.
