Matthias Brewer is a Professor of Organic Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, University of Vermont (UVM). His expertise spans organic chemistry, synthetic methods, natural products synthesis, and the development of small molecule medicinal agents. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison (2002), followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, Irvine (2002–2005).
