Simon B. Blakey, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Emory University and a member of the Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics Research Program at the Winship Cancer Institute. He completed his PhD at the University of Cambridge (UK) in 2002 and postdoctoral training at Caltech (2005). His research focuses on developing synthetic methodologies for malaria treatment, particularly targeting malagashanine alkaloids.
