Matthew Warner-Blankenship

Matthew Warner-Blankenship is an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Iowa College of Law and a Shareholder and Patent Attorney at Dentons Davis Brown in Des Moines. His practice focuses on Intellectual Property Law, including patent drafting and prosecution, trademarks, copyrights, IP litigation, licensing, and internet law, with a specialization in medical devices, biotechnology, and biochemical inventions.

His research and professional interests span Intellectual Property Law, medical device patents, and biotechnology-related legal frameworks. He also advocates for entrepreneurs and emerging businesses in IP and business matters.

Warner-Blankenship actively contributes to legal education, teaching at the University of Iowa College of Law and speaking engagements at Drake Law School and the University of Iowa IP Law Society. Additionally, he has taught intellectual property concepts at the high school level.
