Matthew Lee Anderson, D.Phil., is an Assistant Professor in the Honors Program at Baylor University and serves as Associate Director of Baylor in Washington. He holds a joint appointment as Assistant Research Professor of Ethics and Theology at Baylor's Institute for Studies of Religion and is an Associate Fellow at Oxford University's McDonald Centre for Theology, Ethics, and Public Life.

Dr. Anderson's research focuses on interdisciplinary ethics with particular emphasis on bioethical issues, political theology, and demographic ethics including pro-natalism and anti-natalism frameworks. His work examines the intersection of Christian thought with contemporary ethical challenges.
He has received recognition as one of Christianity Today's '33 under 33' younger evangelical leaders. Dr. Anderson founded and organized the global '100 Days of Dante' reading initiative and established the theological publication Mere Orthodoxy. He currently leads research on the 'ethics of reputation' project.
Additional affiliations include co-hosting the Mere Fidelity podcast and maintaining active membership in Biola University's Torrey Honors College. His scholarly contributions span academic journals including the Journal of Applied Philosophy, Christian Bioethics, and Justice Quarterly.
