Dr. Darin Davis serves as Director of Baylor’s Institute for Faith and Learning and Clinical Professor of Moral Philosophy. He leads the Baylor Symposium on Faith and Culture, faculty development initiatives including the Communio retreat, and the Crane Scholars Program for undergraduates. Previously, he was Vice President for University Mission at Baylor.
His teaching spans moral philosophy, philosophy of human nature, happiness studies, business ethics, and philosophy of friendship. Research focuses on virtue ethics, moral philosophy history, and faith-higher education intersections.
Publications appear in journals including Christian Scholar’s Review and Journal of Moral Theology, with editorial roles at the International Journal of Christianity and Education. He holds a B.A. (University of Texas), M.A. (Baylor University), and Ph.D. (Saint Louis University).
