Dr. Matthew Krebs is a Clinical Senior Lecturer in Cancer Medicine at the University of Manchester and Precision Medicine Lead at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. His research focuses on early phase clinical trials for novel targeted therapies and immunotherapies in lung cancer.
Krebs specializes in translational biomarker research and personalized medicine approaches for biomarker-enriched populations. His work has significantly advanced circulating tumor cell detection methodologies and their clinical applications.
He has received multiple honors including the Bionow Healthcare Project of the Year award. Krebs contributes to major cancer research initiatives including the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre's Cancer Precision Medicine Theme.
