Matthew J. Witry

Matthew J. Witry, PharmD, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Division of Health Services Research at the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. He also serves as Director of the Health Services Research (HSR) Graduate Program. Witry earned both his PharmD and PhD in Pharmaceutical Socioeconomics from the University of Iowa, along with a certificate in College Teaching from the College of Education. His research focuses on patient-centered care, medication adherence, pharmacist roles in suicide prevention, and habit science. He collaborates extensively with institutions like the College of Nursing, Iowa Pharmacy Association, and Iowa State University.
