Matthew Hasenjager is a Research Fellow in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and affiliated with the National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis (NIMBioS).
His research investigates:
- How different factors influence social network structure in animal groups
- Relationships between network structure and information spread
- How individual variation scales to shape collective dynamics
He integrates behavioral experiments, computer simulations, and social network analysis to study complex social systems.
