Matthew Harrison

Matthew Harrison is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, he joined the faculty in 2023 after completing his medical degree and residency.

• Medical Degree: University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine
• Residency: Emergency Medicine at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences
• Master's Degree: Public Health at Dartmouth College – Geisel School of Medicine

Dr. Harrison's research interests focus on clinical applications in emergency medicine and public health initiatives. His training combines osteopathic principles with population health strategies, reflecting a holistic approach to acute care.

Professional roles include membership in the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Outside of work, he enjoys family time, gastronomy, craft coffee, travel, reading, Tae Kwon Do practice, and recreational activities.
