Matthew Hardy is a Senior Lecturer in Architecture & Urbanism at The King’s Foundation and a Senior Associate Tutor in the Department for Continuing Education at the University of Oxford. His interdisciplinary work bridges urbanism, architectural history, and climate change, with a focus on sustainable urban development.
- Educational background: PhD in Architectural History (University of Wales), Bachelor of Architecture (University of Adelaide)
- Professional affiliations: Registered architect in Australia, co-founder of the Journal of Urbanism
His research explores the connections between urban morphology, traditional architecture, and climate change mitigation strategies. He has contributed to academic programs at Oxford and collaborated with institutions like the Global Centre on Healthcare & Urbanisation at Kellogg College.
