Dr Matthew Gobey is a Senior Lecturer in the Finance and Economics Department at the Faculty of Business and Law, Manchester Metropolitan University. His research combines pluralist economics with econometric analysis to examine policy across taxation, health governance, AI applications, and environmental economics. He serves as Programme Leader for the MSc Economic and Financial Analysis and teaches Quantitative Modelling, Policy Evaluation, and Financial Economics using Stata for real-world analysis.
