Matthew Davis

Dr Matthew Davis is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Wolverhampton Law School, part of the Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Sciences. He holds a PhD and LLM in International Law, Human Rights & Criminal Justice from the University of Birmingham, alongside an LLB Hons 2.1 and Legal Practice Course specialization in Human Trafficking from the University of Wolverhampton.

He teaches Immigration Law, International Migration, and Asylum Law at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, while supervising students in the Legal Advice Clinic regarding the Windrush Compensation Scheme.

Scientific contributions include publications in the Wolverhampton Law Journal and Palgrave Macmillan. Key outputs address trafficking barriers, pandemic-era refugee support challenges, and parliamentary evidence submissions on UK trafficking policy.
