Dr. Matthew Davis is an Associate Professor at the University of Leeds' Leeds University Business School, serving as Director of Culture & Values. His research focuses on hybrid working, office design, CSR, and pro-environmental behavior. He leads the ESRC-funded Future Workplace project and has collaborated with Rolls-Royce, Arup, and Leeds City Council. Davis holds leadership roles in the UK Ministry of Defence Research Ethics Committee and the British Psychological Society’s Ethics Committee.

Research interests include socio-technical systems, sustainable workspaces, and ethical supply chains. He has secured £1.5M+ in grants, including ESRC and AHRC funding. Awards include the 2010 US Academy of Management Making Connections Award and 2016 University of Leeds Sustainability Award.
Current projects explore graduate talent pipelines for hybrid work, CSR in fashion supply chains, and biophilia in workplaces. He supervises PhD students in digital workplaces, virtual teams, and energy-efficient behavior change.
