Matthew Conley, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Education at Ohio Dominican University. He joined the institution in 2005 and teaches reading and literacy courses for K-12 education, as well as contributing to the Master's of Education program. His work focuses on integrating diversity, equity, and emergent literacy practices into teacher training.

Dr. Conley's research emphasizes teacher preparation through diversity and equity frameworks, alongside innovative emergent literacy practices. Prior to his academic career, he served as a public school educator specializing in Early and Middle Childhood Education and Gifted and Talented programs.
