Matthew Carmona

Matthew Carmona is Professor of Planning and Urban Design at The Bartlett School of Planning, University College London. With over 25 years of academic and professional experience in urban design governance, public space management, and design policy, he serves as Chair of the cross-sector Place Alliance and European Associate Editor for the Journal of Urban Design. His work bridges academic research with practical policy advising for governments worldwide.
