Matthew C. Bell

Matthew C. Bell, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics — Division of Allergy and Immunology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH). He practices at both ACH in Little Rock and ACH Northwest in Springdale, providing specialized care in allergy and immunology for both children and adults.

His clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and management of asthma, food allergies, allergic rhinitis, drug allergies, eczema, hives (urticaria), and primary immunodeficiency disorders. He performs key procedures such as allergy testing, allergen immunotherapy, and oral food challenges, supporting comprehensive patient care.

Dr. Bell completed his medical training at UAMS, followed by a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at UAMS and ACH, where he served as Chief Resident (2010–2011). He then pursued fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics before joining the UAMS/ACH faculty in July 2013.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and maintains active membership in leading professional societies, including the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; American College of Physicians; and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

While no research publications or formal advisees are listed, his academic appointment suggests involvement in medical education and clinical teaching. He is not currently accepting new patients, but existing patients may schedule appointments through the clinic directly.
