Matthew T. Brodhead is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology and Special Education at Michigan State University (MSU). He holds a Ph.D. from Utah State University and specializes in ethics in applied behavior analysis, restraint and seclusion in public schools, and social skill development for children with autism. His work emphasizes improving professional standards and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities through evidence-based interventions.
Dr. Brodhead’s research focuses on ethical decision-making, telehealth supervision, and the application of behavioral principles in educational settings. He has authored over 50 peer-reviewed articles and serves as a recognized expert in autism and behavior analysis.
