Matthew Barnes

Matthew Barnes is an Associate Lecturer and Senior Technical Officer at the School of Music, ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences, The Australian National University. He holds a BMus Tech and BMus Music (Hons) and is pursuing a PhD at the intersection of music technology and social science. His research focuses on recording techniques, microphone innovation, and the psychological dynamics in studio environments.
