Matthew A. Cobabe is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma with a specialization in Management Accounting. His research focuses on financial reporting, voluntary disclosure practices, and the quality of segment reporting in corporate disclosures, particularly examining how peer firms' segment disclosures influence firm valuation.
