Matt Thronson is a Clinical Professor and Faculty Clinician at the College of Chiropractic, Northwestern Health Sciences University (NWHSU). He graduated with a DC from NWHSU in 2014 and holds an MS from Concordia University, St. Paul, and a BS from Winona State University. His clinical work includes roles as a private practitioner, fellowship program participant, and full-time clinician at the De Rusha Clinic, where he oversees interns (T7-T10).

Research interests focus on Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation, Strength and Conditioning, and Sports Medicine. He has provided chiropractic services to high schools, a professional Australian football team, and served as a strength and conditioning coach for a professional female football team.
Certifications include Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Chiropractic Sports Provider (CCSP).
Outside work, he enjoys family time at a cabin or fishing with his wife and three sons.
