Dr. James Geiselman is an Associate Professor of Allied Health at Graceland University in Lamoni, IA. He co-owns the Iowa Performance Institute, focusing on functional health and nutrition. Previously a paramedic, he earned his DC degree in 2015 and an MS in Nutrition (Summa Cum Laude) in 2017. He teaches in the Division of Health and Movement Science, preparing students for careers in Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, and Strength & Conditioning.

Research interests include sports nutrition, functional medicine, and musculoskeletal health. His publications explore topics like testosterone supplementation, RED-S in adolescent athletes, and IgG food sensitivity in migraines. He holds certifications as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) and Diplomate of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition (DACBN).
He serves on university committees, including the NAIA Heart of America Athletic Conference and the American Chiropractic Association’s Council on Nutrition. He co-hosts the Nutrition on a Mission podcast and mentors Graceland’s Men’s Wrestling team.
