Matt Sigman is a Professor at the University of Utah where he has been faculty since 1999, specializing in synthetic organic chemistry with interdisciplinary integration of data science methodologies.

- Ph.D. in Organometallic Chemistry from Washington State University (1996)

Research Focus: His work pioneers the fusion of traditional organic synthesis with computational approaches, developing novel synthetic methodologies while elucidating reaction mechanisms through data-driven interrogation and optimization frameworks.
