Professor Matt Fitzpatrick is a Matthew Flinders Professor at Flinders University's College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. He holds an Australian Research Council (ARC) Future Fellowship (2022-2026) and specializes in international history, German and European history, European imperialism, and comparative empires. His research explores topics such as German liberalism, nationalism, genocide studies, and the history of ideas.
