Matt Broadhurst

Matt Broadhurst is an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Southern Cross University, and a Senior Principal Research Scientist at the New South Wales Department of Primary Industries. His research focuses on mitigating unaccounted fishing mortality and improving fisheries management through technological and scientific advancements.

Projects include improving trawl selectivity, reducing bycatch in prawn fisheries, octopus population studies, climate resilience, and shark management strategies.
