Mats Roslund is a Professor of Historical Archaeology at the Department of Archaeology and Ancient History, Lund University. His research focuses on social identity, ethnicity, cultural transmission, and medieval urban culture, with specialization in mobile material culture and ceramics. He co-leads investigations at the Iron Age central place Uppåkra with Professor Torbjörn Ahlström and lectures on historical archaeology at the department.
