Mats Boijs is a Professor of Mathematics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology since 2013 and has served as Head of the Department of Mathematics since 2020. His research focuses on commutative algebra and algebraic geometry, particularly in syzygies, Hilbert functions, and the Boij-Söderberg theory, which has impacted cohomology of vector bundles.
