Mats Boij is a Professor at KTH Royal Institute of Technology's Department of Mathematics, serving as Head of Department since 2020. His research focuses on commutative algebra and algebraic geometry, particularly Hilbert functions, syzygies, and the Lefschetz Properties. He oversees an open PhD position funded by the VR project on Powers of Linear Forms and Lefschetz Properties. Boij is active in academic administration, including course responsibilities and outreach initiatives.
