Matilda Wurm is a Senior Lecturer at Örebro University’s School of Behavioural, Social and Legal Sciences. She is affiliated with the Center for Health and Medical Psychology (CHAMP), QueerPsy, and the Social Work and Care in a Life-Course (SAOL) group. Her research bridges health psychology, minority stress in LGBTQ+ populations, and social determinants of health.

Her recent publications emphasize transgender youth experiences, minority stress dynamics, and psychosocial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on LGBTQ+ populations. She contributes to book chapters on gender norms and clinical guidelines.
Matilda teaches health psychology, developmental psychology, and LGBTQ+ issues at Örebro University. She collaborates on transdiagnostic treatment models for emotional and somatic comorbidity and explores reflexive methodologies in mixed-methods LGBTQ+ research.
