Mathilde Hagens is an Assistant Professor in Soil Chemistry and Chemical Soil Quality at Wageningen University & Research. She specializes in carbon sequestration, enhanced mineral weathering, and soil biogeochemistry. Her research focuses on mitigating climate change through soil-based carbon capture, with emphasis on biological and chemical processes.
