Mathew Isaac serves as Professor and Chair of the Department of Marketing at Seattle University's Albers School of Business & Economics, holding the distinguished Loyola Professorship through 2030.
He earned his PhD in Marketing from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in 2010, preceded by industry experience as a Consultant and Manager at Bain & Company and ZS Associates advising media, healthcare, and private equity clients.
Dr. Isaac's research investigates how contextual and motivational factors shape consumer judgment and decision-making processes, with particular focus on product evaluations and purchase intentions. His work bridges theoretical consumer psychology with practical marketing applications, emphasizing behavioral drivers in commercial contexts.
His scholarly output has appeared in premier journals including Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Psychology, and Journal of Advertising Research, while receiving widespread coverage in Harvard Business Review, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Time, and major health publications.
