Masumi Nagasaka is Professor at Waseda University's Faculty of International Research and Education, specializing in phenomenology, philosophy of religion, and Kantian metaphysics. She holds a Dr. phil. from Université de Toulouse II and University of Wuppertal (2013) and an Erasmus Mundus MA in EuroPhilosophie (2009). Her research bridges continental philosophy with non-ontotheological metaphysics, focusing on figures like Derrida, Levinas, Schelling, and Husserl.

Her work explores transcendental schematism, infinitude, and dialectical movements in philosophy. She received the Encouragement Award from the Society for Philosophy of Religion in Japan (2017) and the Research Encouragement Award from The Phenomenological Association of Japan (2014).
As an active academic leader, she serves on committees for the Philosophical Association of Japan, Levinas Society, and Franco-Japanese Society for Philosophy. Her teaching and research integrate French-German philosophical dialogues, phenomenological realism, and non-ontotheological metaphysics.
