Massimo Vittorio is a Researcher in Moral Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy, University of Catania, where he teaches courses in Philosophical Anthropology, Ethics of Communication, and Contemporary Ethics. He also holds the prestigious Fulbright Distinguished Chair position at the University of Notre Dame (Indiana, USA), where he teaches Urban Ethics and is affiliated with the Center for Italian Studies and the Nanovic Institute for European Studies. He serves as Vice-President of the Master's Degree Course in Philosophical Sciences (LM78), a member of the PhD program in Interpretation Sciences, and a tutor for graduate orientation.

His work bridges theoretical philosophy with practical, socially relevant concerns.
Massimo Vittorio is the founder and editor-in-chief of the academic journal and magazine Etica-mente, which promotes philosophical discourse among scholars and students. He also leads innovative student initiatives like Etichettando, a philosophical discussion circle, and PHILOSOPHOUSE on Clubhouse. His academic leadership extends to international roles as a Senior Examiner and Curriculum Developer for the International Baccalaureate (IB) in Philosophy.
