Massimo Magni is the EssilorLuxottica Associate Professor of Leadership at Bocconi University and currently serves as Director of the MSc in International Management. He previously directed the Organization & HR Department at SDA Bocconi School of Management and was part of its Management Board. His PhD is from LUISS University (Rome) with a visiting period at the University of Maryland.
His research focuses on team dynamics in dispersed settings, mobile technology's impact on collaboration and work-life balance. Key contributions include studies on collaboration platforms, team improvisation under pressure, and justice climate in virtual teams. His work has appeared in top journals like MIS Quarterly and Journal of Management Information Systems, and has been featured in MIT Sloan Management Review, Harvard Business Review, and Forbes.
Teaching specialties include leadership development, collaborative competences, and organizational behavior. He has conducted workshops across Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
