Masaru P. Rao

Masaru P. Rao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University's College of Engineering. He earned his B.S. in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Florida and his Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). Prior to his current role, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher in Professor Noel MacDonald's group at UCSB, where he developed plasma-based micromachining technology for titanium.
