María Florencia Chiaramonte is a Lecturer in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Princeton University. She holds a Ph.D. from Brown University (2022) and a bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Culture from Mar del Plata National University (UNMdP), Argentina. Her research focuses on 19th-century Latin American literature, culture, and visual art, with an emphasis on ethnic, indigenous, and gender studies. She has over a decade of experience in language teaching, specializing in content-based curricula and Spanish for Heritage Speakers.
