Maryam Vizheh serves as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Healthcare Resilience and Implementation Science within the Australian Institute of Health Innovation at Macquarie University. Her research bridges public health policy and clinical implementation with expertise in genomic medicine adoption and reproductive healthcare systems.
Her primary research interests include Public Health, Health Services Research, Implementation Science, Genomic Medicine, Reproductive Health, Qualitative Research, and Systematic Reviews. She investigates behavioral drivers in healthcare settings, consumer experiences with genomic services, and structural determinants affecting women's access to reproductive care through mixed-methods approaches.
Recent publications (2024-2025) demonstrate a methodological emphasis on systematic and scoping reviews to address implementation gaps in genomic medicine, pediatric integrated care, and reproductive health services. Key trends show increasing focus on healthcare provider behavior during policy transitions and equity-focused analysis of marginalized populations' healthcare access.
Dr. Vizheh actively disseminates findings through international conferences including presentations at the International Journal of Behavioral Medicine symposium (2025) and organizational research culture studies (2024), collaborating with leading researchers like Jeffrey Braithwaite and Kate Lamprell.
