Maryam Iranikhah is a tenured Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Samford University's McWhorter School of Pharmacy, specializing in geriatric pharmacotherapy and osteoporosis management. She holds a PharmD from Samford University and maintains Board Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy.
Her research examines osteoporosis therapies, medication safety in elderly populations, and innovative pharmacy education methods. Recent work focuses on Beers Criteria medications and cardiovascular prevention in geriatrics. As faculty advisor for Rho Chi, she mentors academic excellence in pharmacy students.
Recognized with multiple teaching awards, Dr. Iranikhah contributes to national committees including the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists. Her clinical expertise informs pharmacy curricula and community health initiatives.
