Mary Woolley

Dr Mary Woolley is a Senior Lecturer in Secondary Education at Canterbury Christ Church University, based in the School of Social Work, Education, and Teacher Education. She runs the secondary history PGCE course and leads the EdD module on The Development of Professional Knowledge.

Her research focuses on history education, teacher education, curriculum development, and sustainability. She is Principal Investigator for a £400,000 project exploring teacher dialogue around curriculum and sustainability in Wales, emphasizing collaborative professional development in educational contexts.
