Mary Rogero is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Architecture and Interior Design at Miami University. She holds a Master of Architecture from Miami University and a BFA in Sculpture from Wright State University. Her expertise focuses on designing for climate resilience and sustainable architectural practices.
Her professional experience includes over two decades in architectural design through firms like Rogero Architects and leadership roles in organizations such as Phius, where she served as Board President (2020–2024) and Chair of the Phius Alliance (2013–2016). She has received numerous design awards, including multiple Dayton AIA honors for projects like the Real Art Building and Therapy Café.
Teaching highlights include courses on landscape architecture history, passive energy design, and introductory architecture (UNV 101). Her creative scholarship includes notable projects like the Shrider Residence (2016) and presentations at conferences such as ARCC and IDEC.
She maintains a strong commitment to professional licensure as a Registered Architect in Ohio and integrates practical design experience with academic leadership.
