Dr. Mary Lynne Bennett is an Adjunct Professor of Piano at the Mary Pappert School of Music, Duquesne University. She holds a D.M.A. in Piano Pedagogy from the University of South Carolina, M.M. from West Chester University, and dual B.M./B.A. degrees from Oberlin College and Conservatory of Music. Her expertise spans group piano instruction, applied piano teaching, and music education assessment. She has taught at multiple institutions including Fairmont State University (2003-2012) and served as an accompanist, music adjudicator, and contributor to NAEP music assessments. Currently, she serves as President of the Pennsylvania Music Teachers Association and holds National Certification from the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).
