Mary G. Condon is a Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, where she has served since 1992. She held the position of Dean from July 2019 to August 2023, following roles as Interim Dean (2018-2019) and Associate Dean (Academic) (2016-2018). She teaches Securities Regulation and Advanced Securities in the JD program and directs the Professional LLM in Securities Law.
Her educational background includes a BA from Dublin, and MA, LLM, and SJD from the University of Toronto. She is a member of the Bar of Ontario.
Professor Condon's research centers on securities regulation, pensions, and feminist legal studies, with significant contributions to financial regulation policy. Her work employs socio-legal, feminist, and political economy approaches to analyze securities markets, investment funds, and pension systems. She has authored influential texts and policy papers while delivering lectures internationally on these topics.

Professor Condon holds significant public appointments including part-time adjudicator of Ontario's Capital Markets Tribunal (2023-present), member of Ireland's Central Bank Commission (2024-present), and former Commissioner/Vice-Chair of the Ontario Securities Commission (2008-2016) where she issued key adjudicative decisions and led policy initiatives.
